Portfolio manager for medium power pumps & motors, leading product prioritization and new product development.
As Portfolio Manager at Danfoss, I was responsible for driving strategy and execution across the Medium Power pumps segment, spanning market analysis through to product launch.
My work at Danfoss spanned the full product lifecycle, from front-end innovation activities to sales enablement and data-driven portfolio optimization.
Led front-end activities for new product development with $2mn+ net present value, aligned with long-term strategy. Drove ideation workshops, stakeholder interviews, and feasibility analysis to shape the product roadmap.
Led competitive benchmarking across 10+ products and optimized the roadmap for connected products in subsystem solutions. Mapped competitor feature sets, pricing, and market positioning to identify white-space opportunities.
Analyzed sales history data spanning 20+ years to build a Voice of Customer strategy and capture customer requirements. Transformed raw sales data into actionable product insights using PowerBI dashboards.
Defined sales guidelines and promotional strategies for products, including strategies for promotion or limited promotion, ensuring alignment between product capabilities and go-to-market messaging.
Successfully pitched execs on investing in ML-based anomaly prediction, with savings exceeding $8 million in recall costs.
Modified innovation frameworks developed by MIT, implemented in Front-End Innovation across all of Danfoss.
Built 5+ PowerBI dashboards for product managers and key stakeholders across the organization to support data-driven decision making.
Learnt to not make assumptions and instead pay attention to the voice of the customer and subject matter experts.
Working in an interdisciplinary team allowed me to hone my stakeholder management skills and ensure buy-in for pivotal decisions.
Frameworks and processes need to be adapted to an organization's culture, use cases and core to get the most from them.
