Brief

As Portfolio Manager at Danfoss, I was responsible for driving strategy and execution across the Medium Power pumps segment, spanning market analysis through to product launch.

  • Market analysis, Voice of Customer and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities in the Medium Power pumps segment.
  • Support in defining positioning and pricing strategy for the portfolio.
  • Participation in the new product development process, from ideation to market launch, closely collaborating with R&D and other relevant departments.
  • Assistance in organizing and conducting the Product Board process for new products and product improvements.

My work at Danfoss spanned the full product lifecycle, from front-end innovation activities to sales enablement and data-driven portfolio optimization.

New Product Development

Led front-end activities for new product development with $2mn+ net present value, aligned with long-term strategy. Drove ideation workshops, stakeholder interviews, and feasibility analysis to shape the product roadmap.

Portfolio Benchmarking

Led competitive benchmarking across 10+ products and optimized the roadmap for connected products in subsystem solutions. Mapped competitor feature sets, pricing, and market positioning to identify white-space opportunities.

Data Analysis

Analyzed sales history data spanning 20+ years to build a Voice of Customer strategy and capture customer requirements. Transformed raw sales data into actionable product insights using PowerBI dashboards.

Sales Development

Defined sales guidelines and promotional strategies for products, including strategies for promotion or limited promotion, ensuring alignment between product capabilities and go-to-market messaging.
